Children North East are the region’s oldest children’s charity and run 15 projects across Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Central Newcastle and Co Durham. They support young families, children, children with communication difficulties, father’s in their parenting role and families who are homeless. They support over 7,000 children and young people every year.

Children North East are looking for volunteers to fundraise for the charity there is no specific timescale, so volunteers ca help with organising their own fundraising event or can help with Children NE set events such as the Christmas present collection. Children NE can provide individual fundraisers with publicity and promotional materials, stickers/collecting tins.

Skills Acquisition : interpersonal, communication, practical hands on experience of working with people, fundraising skills, working within a voluntary organisation/charity, networking, organisational skills, team building skills.
