During your time at university, you may experience academic difficulties. These can include problems with time management, failure of courses/ exams, or issues relating to academic supervision. We provide advice on these issues, as well as information on how to change or withdraw from your course, complain, or appeal. For more information on the university's formal procedure on appeals, complaints, and assessment irregularities, please click here.
If you have exhausted the university complaints or appeals procedures, or have been unsucessful, then you can contact the Office of Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education by clicking here. The OIA is an independent student complaints scheme that handles individual complaints against higher education institutions.
