Jill Lincoln
Jill is a Senior Student Adviser at the SAC. She deals predominantly with financial matters, including student loans/ bursaries, banking, debt, and financial assistance in any area. She is also a generalist adviser who deals with a wide range of other issues, including employment and consumer, to name but a few! She co-manages the service with the other Senior Adviser, Ruth Gibson.
Ruth Gibson Ruth is a Senior Student Adviser at the SAC. She specialises in housing, and deals with a range of issues, including problems with contracts, deposits, community issues, and disrepair. She is also a generalist adviser who can deal with other problems, such as academic or personal issues. She co-manages the service with the other Senior Adviser, Jill Lincoln. Christine Patterson As our Receptionist and Administrative Support Assistant, Christine is the SAC's administrative cornerstone! She ensures that everything runs smoothly within the department, and acts as first point of contact with students, whether it is via email, telephone, or in person. Yoshiko Stokoe The Student Advice Centre is also the headquarters of Representation and Democracy Co-ordinator Yoshiko, who runs the academic representation and hall rep systems, as well as liaising with the Union officer team and University to promote student opinion and engagement at every opportunity. This gives you the chance to have your voice heard on every aspect of University life, and to make a difference to your student experience. June Scott June runs the U.N.C.L.E. ('Newcastle University Children's Loan Equipment Scheme') Scheme, which lends baby equipment to parents currently studying at Newcastle University.
