Are you worried about you or others' safety on campus? Have you got an incident to report? Do you need advice on crime prevention? Then come along to the Police and Crime Prevention drop-in clinic! The service runs every Monday during term time only, from 11am to 1pm, and is run by Fay Paterson and Mel Brehany, Student Liason Officer and Campus PC of Newcastle University.
We also run a Housing Clinic on Mondays from 1pm- 3pm (term time only), which is run by Ian Teasdale from the Newcastle Private Rented Service. This provides support and advice on a wide range of housing issues, including finding accomodation, anti-social behaviour, and tenancy rights. For more information on this service, please click here.
Would you like someone to talk to? For spiritual, emotional, or personal support, come along to one of our Chaplaincy Clinics. These will be held between 12-2pm on Wednesday 19/01/10, Thursday 11/02/10, and Tuesday 02/03/10.
We also run general drop-in sessions every weekday throughout term-time (check our regularly updated opening hours here for more information). These are run by our experienced advisers Ruth Gibson and Jill Lincoln, who can advise on a wide range of issues.
If, however, you are experiencing a more complex problem which requires more than a short period of time to resolve, you are encouraged to make an appointment. This can be done in several ways, either by telephone, email, or in person at our offices. Please refer to our contact section for more information. Appointments last one hour, and like all our other services, are completely confidential. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us as early as possible so that we can offer it to other students.
