Welcome to the webpages of the Student Advice Centre! As an independent advice service run by the Union Society, our purpose is to provide top class information and advice to pre-entry, current, and former students of Newcastle University. (Please note, however, that former students will only be seen within one year of graduation). So if you have a problem and need some information or impartial advice, why not pop along to our office and have a confidential chat with one of our experienced advisers in a friendly setting? We provide expert advice on a wide range of issues, including finance (student loans/ debt), accommodation, academic, consumer/legal, and employment. Please note, however, that we do NOT advise on immigration issues of any kind- please contact the Visa Team at King's Gate if you need further information.
