Vacancy 5426 – Casual Security Officers
Job description: To perform various security duties on their customer sites that include office, warehouse, manufacturing or retail sites. You must conduct internal and external patrols of the site, meet and greet visitors/employees directing people where necessary, help in emergency or evacuation procedures, check for unauthorised personnel on site and manage paperwork/reports on security related matters.
Person specification: You should be smart and presentable, have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to work long shifts, good timekeeping and a willingness to learn new skills. Experience not required, but you must be committed as this job will involve fully funded SIA training, uniform and further on site training.
Hours of work: Various, 12 hour shifts - Days, nights, weekends
Start date: ASAP Contract: Summer, then continuing on casual basis
Rate of pay: £6.00-£6.50 per hour

Vacancy 5188 - Temporary Waiting Staff
Job description: A bespoke catering company based in Newcastle are looking for temporary waiting staff for summer work. You will be working on a number of different events varying from private dinner parties and weddings to large corporate functions. Events will be based in either Newcastle city centre or in Northumberland. Drivers with own cars desired but travel will be provided to events out of the city centre where necessary.
Person specification: They are looking for experienced, professional, well presented waiting staff. Must have some waiting experience, excellent communication and customer care skills. You need to be able to work as part of a team, be reliable and flexible. Staff to provide their own smart black shirt and trousers/skirt. Bistro Aprons will be provided.
