Job description: You will be providing support to individual pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, predominantly within Early Years and primary School settings across the borough.
Person specification: You should have experience of working with pupils with additional needs and of relevant age. Qualification to NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistant or equivalent, and good numeracy and literacy skills are essential. You must also have an understanding of the principles of child development and learning processes and barriers to learning along with knowledge of effective actions for pupils at risk of underachieving.
