Student Services at the Union Society
Your Students' Union is not only about providing you with a place to eat, drink and socialise, we also offer a range of support services to help you whilst you are at Newcastle University. These are within the Directorate of Membership and Democratic Services, along with student activities, and include specifically:
- Student Community Action Newcastle (SCAN)
- The Student Advice Centre
- The Volunteer Module
- The Student Job Shop
- The Nightbus
- Nightline

May 12th : Silent Disco ReturnsSilent Disco Returns ; The silent disco returns on Saturday May 17th in the Basement. Dance in your own personal world of music for ;5 and we're chucking in a load of free glow sticks too.
Arcane
This tri-annual mega end of term blow-out is one of the North East's biggest dance nights, featuring six (yes, six!) ;rooms full of top class music for you to blow out the end of your term in style! All proceeds go to the South African Scholarship Fund.
