The only newsagent on Campus, the Union Shop provides students with a one-stop alternative to trawling around town for your shopping needs. All of the stuff you would expect - paper, pens, newspapers, cigarettes and soft drinks - are supplemented by calculators, presentation materials, groceries, photograph development, memorabilia and a HUGE array of greetings cards for all occassions.
The shop stocks a huge range of Newcastle University branded clothing, and all major newspapers are available at a special student rate (from 25p each) so you have no excuse for not being well informed! The Shop also houses a fully functional sub post office for all your mailing and bill processing needs. It has to be about the handiest part of the building! You can find the Union Shop downstairs from Reception.

Jun 7th : ArcaneThis tri-annual mega end of term blow-out is one of the North East's biggest dance nights, featuring six (yes, six!) ;rooms full of top class music for you to blow out the end of your term in style! All proceeds go to the South African Scholarship Fund.
